About Us
Owner/Operator Alex Collins is a native of Carthage, MO. He studied solar and renewable energy at Crowder College in Neosho, MO helping on various projects for the solar department such as the solar decathlon, solar car, and solar golf cart.
While a student, he interned for a local solar company that installed and wired the solar panels on the MARET Center at the Crowder campus in Neosho, which is 100% powered by renewable energy.
After graduating, Alex went on to work for a local solar equipment retailer . There he learned the design and troubleshooting skills necessary for wind and solar projects around the world. In addition, this is when he established On Grid Off Grid Solar beginning with solar & renewable energy installations.
On Grid Off Grid Solar is based in Joplin, MO and serves not only the Southwest corner of Missouri but also the surrounding states of Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma & all 50 States with professional solar & renewable energy installation & services for residential and commercial use.
